Sydney’s Hills district is located within the north-west urban area of Greater Sydney stretching from just north of Parramatta 30 minutes from Sydney CBD, to Wiseman’s Ferry on the Hawkesbury River about 90 minutes from Sydney CBD. It varies dramatically from busy suburban towns to native bush and to rural landscapes and tiny villages.
There’s no mistake about the geographic aspect in the naming of the area with rolling hills, bushland, market gardens and urban vistas. Numerous parks, reserves and riverside natural environments have made the area an ideal location for leisurely recreational activities. Centrally located, the Hills District is great for motorcycling, with easy access to the Mountains, Hawkesbury River, Berowra Waters, Putty Road and a wide variety of rural and semi-urban country roads.
Our monthly meetings are held at the Castle Hill RSL Club, 77 Castle Street, Castle Hill, on the third Wednesday of each month, commencing at 7:30 p.m.
Our weekly social gathering is every Saturday morning at The Local Shed, Mungerie House, 16 Bellcast Road, Rouse Hill from 8:00 am. Bring your motorcycle along and ‘shoot the breeze’ for a while with other people who share a deep passion for motorcycling. You are guaranteed to receive a warm welcome from everyone. There is usually a ride or two departing from here on the day as well to give you a perfectly rounded day out
